1.6       TRANSPORTATION & LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCY/PLANNING: PUBLIC USE PERMIT NO.  878 – EA 37264 – Herron and Rumansoff Architects Inc. -  AntelopeValley Zoning Area – Sun City / MenifeeValley Area Plan – 3rdDistrict.  PUP 878 to construct a religious complex on 5-acres consisting of four single-story buildings with a total of 49,880 square feet of building area, to be developed in four phases.  Phase I proposes a 16,700 square foot multipurpose building; Phase II a 12,000 square foot classroom / conference center building; Phase III a 9,180 square foot classroom building; and Phase IV a 12,000 square foot sanctuary with fixed seating for 500 people.  Additionally, the complex is proposing 167 parking spaces to accommodate a maximum of 500 people on site at any one time, approved by the Planning Commission.

 

1.7       TRANSPORTATION & LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCY/PLANNING: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3445 / VARIANCE NO. 1769 – EA 39905 - Facilities Development Corp. - Glen Avon Zoning District – Jurupa Area Plan – 2ndDistrict, 2.53 gross acres, C-1/C-P zoning.  CUP 3445 to develop a self storage facility on 2.53 acres that includes 9 buildings holding 363 individual units with spaces ranging from 5’-0” x 5’-0” to 15’-0” x 30’-0”.  Additionally the facility will include a 739 square foot office and 1,012 square foot apartment building.  Four full size and one disabled access parking space for a total of five on-site parking spaces will be provided.  VAR 1769 is a proposal to encroach within the 20’-0” setback requirement to develop storage units (Buildings: B, C1, C2 , D, and E) up to the property line.  The project was approved by the Planning Commission.
