ORDINANCE NO. 583.2
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE SPECIFYING
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERSONS ELECTED OR APPOINTED
TO THE OFFICE OF COUNTY AUDITOR‑CONTROLLER
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, Ordains as follows:
SECTION 1. PURPOSE
The purpose of this Ordinance is to maintain well qualified individuals in the position of Riverside County Auditor-Controller.
SECTION 2. AUTHORITY
Pursuant to Government Code Section 26946 the Board of Supervisors may enact the provisions of Government Code Section 26945 and 26945.1 prior to the first date of the period for filing declarations of candidacy for the office of County Auditor-Controller.
SECTION 3. ENACTMENT OF GOVERNMENT CODE PROVISIONS
The Board of Supervisors hereby enacts the provisions of Government Code Section 26945 and 26945.1 as presently enacted or subsequently amended or renumbered.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its adoption.
