ORDINANCE NO 797

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE

DESIGNATING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF INDIO TO

REDEVELOP COUNTY LAND PURSANT TO SECTION 33213

OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT LAW

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside does ordain as follows:

Section 1.      The City of Indio is hereby designated and authorized to redevelop the area within the territorial limits of the County of Riverside, as more particularly shown on the attached Exhibit A ("Area"), pursuant to Section 33213 of the Community Redevelopment Law (Health & Safety Code Section 33000, et seq.) ("CRL").

Section 2.      All proceedings and actions taken by the City of Indio in redeveloping the Area prior to the date of this Ordinance are hereby approved.

Section 3.      To the extent any redevelopment plan is adopted by the City of Indio which includes the Area and complies with all requirements of the CRL, including, without limitation, redevelopment plan adoption requirements, said redevelopment plan is hereby approved as it applies to the Area.
