The City Selection Committee is established in any county in which two or more cities are incorporated by California Government Code Section 50270. The purpose of which shall be to appoint city representatives to boards, commissions, and agencies as required by law. The membership of each such city selection committee shall consist of the mayor of each city within the county or the mayor’s designee. Committee meetings shall be scheduled as necessary to fill vacancies or expired terms.
